Chairman's Award: Chairman's Award - Issue reason: Your outstanding contributions to this community have not gone unnoticed. IN my view you are a worthy recipient of the (rarely used) Chairman's Award.
Default Engine Stand Recommendations

Need to pick one up tomorrow in Sydney somewhere, the existing workshop stand is being hogged by a deadwood job that has no easy lifting points.

Got to hold a medium heavy engine, not quite Barra weight but not alloy-headed four-pot either.

Suggestions on brand, or general attributes, or stuff to avoid, are appreciated.

Default Re: Engine Stand Recommendations

Have stripped and assembled a couple of engines with one of those entry level $100 stands. Last one was a 289 Windsor with iron heads and intake manifold. So it wasn’t light. Did the job.
