Now there's a new way around it, its called gather up as many old school trucks (1998 and older) as you can and refit them with mechanical injected diesels.

I am assuming going that route was more cost effective than stripping down and rebuilding an old rig from scratch. To striping and separating the chassis rails.
Doing this to say a 904 and turning it into a new truck again.
