There is some possibility you’ve damaged the front seal where the converter fits into the transmission, by the yanking. Hopefully not - but if it leaks noticeably this is why.

Once you have the converter bolts out, bolt something (scrap) across the exposed part at the bottom of the bellhousing, this is to stop the converter coming forward and partially disengaging.
