They are almost as cult like as Tesla owners.
I still laugh at the story about how Ford engineers made regular visits to the Hilux owners group, before and during the new Rangers development, to get feedback on how they use their vehicles and what they liked and disliked. They showed them photos and they reckon you could see their faces drop. Shattered their world.
The Hilux hasn't been unbreakable for a long time now.
