Different reason...maybe because if there were no private schools all the state governments would have to build all the schools and pay for everything on top of what they already provide to private schools.
Approx.. 43% of Victorian secondary students are in private/independent/catholic schools...that's a massive %.
In a way, the fed. government is pushing us to EV's but without the infrastructure to support it there won't be the sales to meet their desired targets. Don't get me wrong, I'd rather an ICE engined vehicle right now because it best matches my requirements.
