Haha, the regret will only get worse.

In the 80's I was looking at buying a XY GT HO Ph3, the car was sitting in storage on blocks in mint condition in a 'wog' mansion in Greystanes. Asking price was $20,000ono, the Greek guy that owned it had just retired and was going to Greece.

I was single, earning almost drug money working at Clyde Oil refinery, had the cash sitting in my bank account and then some.

My father went mental, 'why would you buy a 20K rust bucket' (his words not mine, there was no rust). Even though I was an adult I respected his opinion and bought a Mazda 323 instead.
