No, it wasn't but calling them out (Hockey) didn't help.

Anyway, my point was more that the policies aren't crazy and nothing new in the world. Don't know why we resist change even when it's a good thing. Getting more efficient cars is a good thing for the market.

Protectionist industries are inefficient. That said, the world is changing and with the numerous unequal FTAs signed, protectionist can be good. But that's to fix a problem signing poor FTAs.
