Come the early 1990s the builder they chose, they wanted the same thing but they were talked out of it because you don't need it apparently

These days its probably not so much a drama with mandatory energy efficiency regulations about new homes but there's a lot of ****ty existing houses people are living in thats for sure - it passes the buck to the end consumer.

Its more efficient method of cooking as all the energy goes into the pan, instead of using a flame which is heating up the air around the pan and some of it going into the pan/pot et al.

What I like about it is you get way more control of how much heat is going into something, works wicked for long cooks, boiling large volumes of water or something like searing a steak in a pan.

Anyway whats everyone paying for fuel in their neck of the woods?
