I am one of those that refuse to sell my car and get one of those little buzz boxes.. but, I also realise that my driving will not be as often, or as far because of that decision. It is a fact of life.. my choice is exactly that my choice (doesn't mean I have to be happy because the fuel companies think its ok to jack the price up because of a weekend or long weekend....)

Thats where the governments need to step in a help us out a touch, If they wont drop the tax on fuel by 5-10%.
I'm the same a 6 is as small as i will go so then you need to just cut back at touch.
It also make you think twice before you step hard on the accelerator, I have walked to the shop of late thinking it's a waste of petrol to warm the car up and drive 4min to the shop, I can walk it in 25 min.
