Whenever I'm Looking at a S/H Truck I always take Far more Notice of the Engines Hours than the Distance travelled.!

I’d be taking more notice of fuel burn. As that is representative of load and how hard the engine and what’s behind it has been working.
Yeah Damo I think the 100 series & GU Patrol are the most recent 4wds where the clusters can be swapped and aren’t stored in the
BCM.
The Discovery 2 stores the cluster with the
BCM but the LR Nanocom scan tool can change either or to the highest or lowest value.
I looked into this as in NZ diesels pay $78 tax per 1000km. I ended up buying a Citroen C5 diesel and unplugging one of the rear
ABS sensors, which is used as the VSS. Only downside is I lose cruise control.
