Laser LXi 96 Clutch

hey guys, i have just purchased a laser LXi 1996 model 1.6L and was thinking of replacing the clutch in the next few weeks, what is involved in doing this?
the current clutch is ok but i do long trips and would hate to be stranded somewhere in the country 5-6 hours from home due to a bad clutch
